The top German journalist Dr. Udo Ulfkotte who became a targeted individual after exposing the CIA creating fake news and manipulating media stories was found dead Friday, after detailing how he was a targeted. He said he had expected to be on a hit-list after blowing the whistle about mainstream media lying to publish propaganda for the CIA.
“The German and American media tries to bring war to the people in Europe, to bring war to Russia. This is a point of no return, and I am going to stand up and say… it is not right what I have done in the past, to manipulate people, to make propaganda against Russia,” Ulfkotte, 56, had said.
Ulfkotte reportedly died from a heart attack, a favorite way the CIA has covertly assassinated targeted individuals for decades. His home had been previously searched.
Among bogus stories Ulfkotte says he was ordered by the CIA to plant in his newspaper was a fake story that Libyan President Moammar Gaddafi was building poison gas factories in 2011.
“The German and American media tries to bring war to the people in Europe, to bring war to Russia,” he told RT.
Ulfkotte had written a book, Bought Journalists, saying he did so because he was ashamed he’d lied for the intelligence community and because he was very fearful of a new war in Europe being created by intelliegence agencies.
“I’ve been a journalist for about 25 years, and I’ve been educated to lie, to betray, and not to tell the truth to the public,” Ulfkotte told Russia Today. “I was supported by the Central Intelligence Agency, the CIA. Why? Because I am pro-American.”
Ulfkotte was an editor at Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, one of the largest newspapers in Germany, when he published Bought Journalists.
If as a journalist he did not agree to publish lies, Ulfkotte, like others, was threatened, he said.
The timing of Ulfkotte’s death was possibly predictable. It coincided with intelligence community caught in a quagmire about Russia hacking the US election; the intelligence agencies promoting all out war against Russia; and their clashing with President-Elect Donald Trump.
